The conference will be held at Paraninfo UPV-EHU in Bilbao on 26th and 27th October 2011. The Conference is addressed to utilities, research institutes, electrical equipment manufacturers, universities and electrical sector associations.



Objectives

The global aim of the Conference is to facilitate an international forum in which experts and researchers from different countries could exchange ideas and discuss on the state of the art and recent progress in the power sector.

- To promote technology transfer and knowledge among the different stakeholders or subsectors in the energy industry related with electrical equipment and smart grids.
- To be an international forum in order to showing most recent innovations and applications of Smart Grids on their wide range of fields.
- To discuss, analyze and define innovative trends which will affect to the energy industry focused on these technologies.
- To be an experiences and knowledge exchange forum among energy industries, about such innovative trends, as well as the ways, changes and attitudes to assimilate and incorporate them.
