The International Conference on Electrical Equipment, under the acronym of JIEEC have reached a recognized prestige in the national electricity scenario, fruit of the success obtained with the celebration of 11 previous editions. In proof of it, it is enough to verify the increasing quality of the presented lectures and the wide assistance of delegates proceeding from electrical companies, manufacturers, technological centres, universities and associations of the electrical sector, managing to overcome the hundred in the last celebrated editions.
Likewise it is important to state the increasing international expansion, mainly in Europe, with the representatives' presence of leading companies in the electrical and energy sector.
The topics to be covered during the Conference are listed below
• New developments on equipment and systems for the electrical grid
• Smart meters, communications and related management systems
• Strategies for the smart grids deployment and review of most significant pilot projects
• Smart grids impact assessment and new business models
Furthermore, it will take place the Spanish Regional Workshop of ADDRESS project. ADDRESS stands for “Active Distribution network with full integration of Demand and distributed energy RESourceS” and its target is to enable the Active Demand in the context of the smart grids of the future. It is a 4 years project carried out, in the frame of FP7, by a consortium of 25 partners from 11 European countries.
